synapse-symbol was a culmination of design research and personal writing put into an editorial format.
Starting with the form of an asterisk, the reader observes the process of decay while flipping through the pages as the symbol gradually warps and deteriorates.
Drawing from inspiration points such as Lettrist theory, synapse-symbol weaves together the intersection between nature and technology, historical views of symbol and meaning, and the study of our changing relationship with image and appearances.
